Android 7.0 Nougat will hit Moto devices in Q4

Motorola has revealed the smartphone lists which are eligible to receive the new Android 7.0 Nougat os. This information has shared by the company on their official blog. This nougat update will be available to Moto X series, Moto Z series, Nexus 6 and also for Droid series. Moto will start to feed this update to their smartphones in Q4 2016.

The following are eligible handsets for Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade:

– Moto Z, Moto Z Play, Moto Z Force

– Moto G (4th Gen), Moto G Plus (4th Gen), Moto G Play (4th Gen)

– Moto X Style, Moto X Force, Moto X Play, Moto X Pure Edition

– Nexus 6

Droid Editions:

– Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Play Droid, Moto Z Force Droid

– Droid Maxx 2, Droid Turbo 2

Have you noticed? The company didn’t list the Moto E3 Power and Moto G3 smartphones. The nougat update will start with Moto G4 and Moto Z devices then it will reach other moto handsets.

Recently top manufacturers like Sony and HTC released the smartphones list for android 7.0 nougat update. But Google already begins to push this latest os to its nexus series devices and also released factory images.
