Asus manufacturer unveiled new low range and mid-range of ZenFone series smartphones to India. The smartphones are ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6.These ZenFone smartphones are already launched globally in May 2014. All these smartphones are coming with Corning Gorilla glass 3 display protection, Android 4.3 Jelly bean OS (upgradable to Kitkat), 5 GB life time web storage, dual micro sim card, 64 GB expandable memory, Zen UI, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G network.
The ZenFone 4 has 4 inch WVGA display, 1.2 GHz dual core processor, Intel atom Z2520 chipset, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, 5 Megapixel rear camera and VGA front camera. The rear camera has 1080p video recording and playback support. It has two battery variants 1200 mAh and 1600 mAh. It will be available in black, white and red colors. The ZenFone 4 with 1600 mAh battery variant priced at Rs. 5,999.
The next smartphone is ZenFone 5; it comes in two storage variants 8 GB and 16 GB. The device has 5 inch IPS HD display, 2.0 GHz dual core processor, Intel Atom Z2580 chipset, 8 Megapixel rear camera, 2 Megapixel front camera and 1 GB RAM. The device equipped with 2110 mAh battery with enough usage time. It will be available in 5 different colors: Black, White, Red, Purple and Gold. The 8 GB variant priced at Rs. 9,999 and 16 GB variant at Rs. 10,999.
Finally, the ZenFone 6 has the high end features and costlier than ZenFone 5. It has 6 inch IPS HD display, 2.0 GHz dual core processor, Intel Atom Z2580 chipset, 13 Megapixel rear camera, 2 Megapixel front camera and 2 GB RAM. Like ZenFone 5, it also available in two storage variants 16 GB and 32 GB variants. The device has huge battery capacity 3300 mAh battery with 28 hrs of talk time. The 16 GB variant priced at Rs. 17000 but they didn’t release the 32 GB variant price.
