August security update now rolling out for Galaxy A5 (2016)

Samsung has started to push new software update for Galaxy A5 (2016) users. It will update the android security patch level of this device to August month. Recently they have released the July security patch for this device. We’ve also updated the screenshot of this firmware notification. According to this image, the software update for A5 (2016) will come as A510FXXU4CQH2. The download size of this OTA will be in 215 MB. This August patch will fix the 28 vulnerabilities (CVE) on Android OS and 12 security issues (Samsung Vulnerabilities & Exposures) from Samsung’s software.


Also installs the Facebook app and optimizes the device performance. Samsung is now rolling out this security update in regular OTA. The report suggests it is available to download in Netherland. You can also check for the update to know whether it is available in your region or not. To initiate manual update go to Settings > Software Update > Download Manually.
