Essential Phone starts receiving November security update

Followed by Google, November month security patch is now available for Essential Phone (PH-1). This new brand has introduced its first handset on May 2017. From its launch the company is rolling out the regular security updates for this device. As the November has started so they’ve released the latest security patch.


The November update for essential phone will arrive with the build number NMJ32F. Along with security patch, it will also fix the instability issue on fingerprint gesture. The update file weighs in small size 57.4 MB. The latest build didn’t make any change in OS version and it still runs on Nougat 7.1.1. This software update will be available to download via OTA.

Before downloading the OTA charge your battery at least 50 percent and use recommended internet connection. On the other hand, Essential has confirmed that the Android 8.0 Oreo beta existence and the roll out will start soon. They’ve also planned to release the Oreo update for their fans before the end of this year.
