The Gmail app for iOS has been updated to swipe left or right to move between emails. The user no need to return to the inbox each time to switch between messages. The update also provides users to carry out actions on multiple messages.To Select an email in the inbox enables the edit mode on the app. Once in edit mode, users can tap on the emails to select , archive, delete or select more options from the new actions bar and Cancel at any point to quit the edit mode. The update also fixes the bugs and improves the performance.

The users of Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) devices can now reply to their emails, delete, archive right from the notifications panel without having to launch the app. The users of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) devices can now make quicker searches, even without an Internet connection. Google has doled out performance improvements to those using Android devices running version 2.2 and up.The new look for Gmail on your phone browsers will dole out copious amounts of white space larger fonts and a cleaner interface.
