LG G Pad X 10.1 receives marshmallow update in AT&T

AT&T wireless has rolled out the android marshmallow update for LG G Pad X 10.1 users in U.S. This firmware update will reach the gpad x 10.1 tablets through OTA (over-the-air). The carrier has also updated the change-log at their support page of gpad x 10.1 tablet. To update your tablet to latest software version go for settings > About tablet > Update Center > Software update > Update Now.


If the marshmallow is available to your tablet follow the procedures displayed on your screen. The new software update will be in large size 869 MB. The latest firmware also brings new build number MRA58K and software version V93020f.

This software update will made major changes in AT&T service apps and also update os version to android 6.0. The lists of changes in this at&t service apps are:

  • AT&T Locker now 2.0
  • Keeper removed
  • myAT&T is a full preloaded app (was weblink)
  • Ready2Goreplaced with Setup and Transfer
  • Kindle removed
  • AT&T Mail now a VPL
  • AT&T Messages VPL added
  • DIRECTV VPL added
