The highlight is they were rolling out this may security update for older smartphones, which sounds great. The build number of this patch update is similar for all the three smartphones 41.3.A.2.128. But it didn’t make any changes in android version which will remain at 8.0.0.

The download size of this update for Xperia XZ will be in 204.5 MB, it’s not too big. While the weigh of other two models are not yet available, but we can assume it will not exceed more than 0.5 GB. As the update size is not large so you can use either Wifi or mobile data for download.

Apart from this security patch, it didn’t include any other major changes for these handsets. They were rolling out this security software update via OTA in phases. The availability of this update will vary by region and take some time to reach all devices. If you are using any of these smartphones, check for the software updates to know whether the firmware is available in your region or not.
