Moto X Play enters into Nougat 7.1.1 soak test

Do you own a Moto X Play and looking for the Android Nougat update then your wait is over. Yes, Motorola has begins to roll out Android 7.1.1 Nougat for Moto X Play devices. But this is not a stable version; it’s a soak test which will be available only for testers. As previously said they’ve skipped the android 7.0 version and directly pushing the 7.1.1 version.

We’ve also got the screenshot of post update of Moto X Play. According to that the soak test update will come with the new build number NPD26.48-24. It also includes August month security patch, Google Duo video calling app, split window, refreshed system icons and more.

This nougat soak test is available for selected users who enrolled in Motorola feedback Network (MFN). It also confirms the roll out is coming as OTA in phases. Unfortunately we didn’t get any details about the release of stable version. But we can expect the official roll out will begin at the September end or next month.
