Motorola announced Android Kitkat update for T-Mobile Moto X

Motorola officially announced the Kitkat (Android 4.4.2) update for T-Mobile Moto X device. This update released only for T-Mobile USA users. To install the update the user wants to download the upgrade file via Wi-Fi network. The device will restart automatically while installing the upgrade file. The user can manually check the firmware update by the following steps Settings > About Phone > System Updates. Once the device is upgraded to Android 4.4.2, the user cannot downgrade to previous version. The below are some of the features listed in Motorola official site.

Printing documents and pictures – Added support for printing photos, Google Docs, Gmail messages, and other content via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and hosted services like                                                                                                Google Cloud Print and HP e-Printers.

Improved battery life – Fixed bugs which caused a small number of users to experience shorter battery life after upgrading to Android 4.4.

Fixed email sync delays – Fixed a bug that could cause email services like Microsoft Exchange to experience intermittent delays in data synchronization.
