Currently Samsung is expanding the Android 7.0 Nougat roll out to Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Note 5 in Canada. Last week the U.S carrier networks pushed this same update to these two devices. The update is now available from the following Canadian carriers like Bell, Koodo mobile, Sasktel, Telus, Virgin and Videotron.
If you’re using galaxy note 5 then the update will come as N920W8VLU4CQC9 and for S6 Edge+ users it will hit as G928W8VLU4CQC8. Both handsets will receive this firmware update through OTA. The software update will upgrade android version to 7.0 and also apply the latest security patch. To avoid disconnection manage your battery level at least 50 percent and connect to stronger wifi network. If you didn’t received the notification don’t worry you can check for the update manually from Settings menu.
