Samsung Galaxy A 2017 lineup officially announced

Today Samsung officially announces new range of Galaxy A 2017 series smartphones. The handsets are named as Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017). The company will also showcase these mobiles at CES 2017 event this week. They didn’t reveal the pricing for these three smartphones. Samsung will first roll out this Galaxy A (2017) series handsets for Russia in the upcoming weeks. Pricing and global launch details will confirm at CES event.


Discussing about design all the three mobiles are comes with premium metal body, 3D glass finish back and IP68 water & dust resistance. Both handsets sports Super AMOLED display, curved glass front, android 6.0.1 marshmallow os, fingerprint sensor, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, Wifi, Type-C USB, 4G LTE (Cat 6), Samsung Pay, and Samsung KNOX.

Let’s begin from smaller version Galaxy A3 (2017) it houses 4.7-inch HD (720p) display, 1.6 GHz octa core processor, Exynos chipset, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and an expandable microSD card slot. The camera options are 13MP at back and 8MP at front. It packs with 2350 mAh battery which can offer moderate usage time.


Second one the Galaxy A5 (2017) which comes with 5.2-inch Full HD (1080p) display, 1.9 GHz octa core processor, Exynos chipset, 3GB RAM, 32GB on-board storage and also support microSD card (up to 256GB). This model has dual 16MP camera one at back and another one at front for selfies. It filled with 3000 mAh battery and support fast charging technology.


Final one Galaxy A7 (2017), it features 5.7-inch Full HD (1080p) display, Exynos chipset, 1.9 GHz octa core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and microSD card slot. It also has 16MP camera at back and front. The battery capacity bumped to 3600 mAh which also feature fast charging technology.
