Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) getting Android Oreo update

Samsung’s last year flagship device Galaxy A7 (2017) has started to receive new software update. It brings the most expected android 8.0 oreo update of this handset. This roll out has been officially confirmed by the users who shared the installed screenshot on third party forums. As per the report, the android 8.0 oreo firmware is currently live in Vietnam region only.


Surely Samsung will expand this android oreo major software to other regions, but can’t tell about the exact release date. The screenshot reveals the build number of this new update as A720FXXU3CRD3. It will also bump the android security patch level to April 1 2018. The download size of this major software update will be in 1.3GB. Use recommended internet connection like Wifi to stay away from errors.
