In June 2014, Samsung released the first Quad HD display smartphone Galaxy S5 LTE-A G906 for their native country South Korea. They also announced the LTE-A version will be exclusively available only in South Korean telecom operators. The Europe version of Galaxy S5 LTE-A SM-G901 with full HD display listed in GFX benchmark site. Instead of Quad HD display they used Full HD display for Europe version. Compared to South Korean version, Samsung reduced the features from S5 LTE-A Europe version.
The galaxy S5 LTE-A SM-G901 has 5.2 inch Full HD display, Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS, single sim card slot, 2.5 GHz quad core krait processor, qualcomm snapdragon 805 chipset and Adreno 420 GPU. For Europe version, they reduced the RAM from 3 GB to 2 GB and also cutoff internal storage from 32 GB to 16 GB. It has 16 Megapixel rear camera which support 1080p video recording, autofocus, panorama and more. It also has 2 Megapixel front camera with Full HD video call feature. It preloaded with lots of features like NFC, Wi-Fi, Fingerprint sensor, heart rate sensor, water proof, GPS, Bluetooth, USB etc. They didn’t mention the battery capacity for this device.
However, the device name and features has not been officially announced by the Samsung. They may unveil the features, price and availability details of this device within end of September 2014.
