Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 receiving Android Marshmallow Update

Samsung is now currently pushing android 6.0.1 marshmallow update for Samsung galaxy tab s2 9.7 T815 unlocked model. The new firmware update is now available in Germany country users. It will also update the android security patch file to April month. The baseband version of this tablet will update to T815XXU2BPD6. The carrier unlocked versions will send the android 6.0.1 marshmallow notification to tab s2 9.7 devices. If you have received the prompt for software update download and install it to your tablet.


Still the software update notification didn’t available for your device, check manually by Settings -> About device -> Software update. If the firmware is available download it now or wait for your turn. After the update has installed verify the android version which will be updated to 6.0.1. However this software update is now live in Germany country only. We can also expect it may roll out to globally (including U.S carriers) in upcoming weeks. There is no word about marshmallow update for Samsung tab s2 8-inch model.
