After the announcement of Galaxy Tab 4 series, Samsung working on their new Galaxy Tab S series which will have a large display resolution (2560 x 1600). Samsung may officially release their new series in Q3 of 2014. The Antutu benchmark result confirms the tablet model numbers and hardware details. Samsung will release their galaxy Tab S series in two display variants: 8.4 Inch and 10.5 Inch. Both models will sport WiFi and LTE Version: Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 Wi-Fi (SM-T700), Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE (SM-T705), Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Wi-Fi (SM-T800) and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 LTE (SM-T805). The Galaxy Tab S Series has same hardware specs but it differs in display sizes. Both tablets have AMOLED display, Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS, Octa core processor (4x Cortex A15 + 4x Cortex A7 Cores) with Exynos 5420 chipset, 3 GB RAM, 8 Megapixel rear camera and 2.1 megapixel front camera. The rear camera has Full HD video capture, panorama and more features. All the tablets have Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, IR Blaster, LTE and more features. It may also support Fingerprint sensor for PayPal payments, screen unlock etc. We want to wait until Samsung officially unveils the tablets for official specifications, price and global release date.
