Samsung Note 4 and J7 (2015) on T-Mobile gets security patch update

T-Mobile powered Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy J7 (2015) mobiles are now receiving security patch update. The software update for galaxy j7 includes December security patch, Domestic roaming data enhancements and IPv4 over LTE international roaming fix. It also carries new baseband version J700TUVU2APK6. The download size of this update will be 246.40 MB.


For galaxy note 4 the update brings November security patch and Domestic data roaming improvements. The update for this device comes in two versions N910TUVS2EPK2 and N910T3UVS3EPK2. The download size also varies for both baseband versions 60.37 MB (S2EPK2) and 32.06 MB (S3EPK2).


The update is now live in USA, both handsets will get this firmware through automatic OTA (over the air) update. If the users didn’t receive the update notifications they can download it manually from Settings > About device > Download updates manually. You can also download and install this software update from PC. Connect your device to system with Samsung Smart Switch then it will notify if there’s any update available for your handset. If the update is available proceed to download and follow the procedures on the screen.
