TweetDeck App going to stop on 7th May

In early March, Twitter announced that it is going to stop Tweeting app TweetDeck for iOS, Android and Adobe AIR. TweetDeck is the most powerful Twitter tool for tracking real-time conversations. Its flexibility and customizable layout let you keep up with what’s happening on Twitter, across multiple topics and accounts, in real time.TweetDeck posted on its blog  ” we are discontinuing support for our older apps: TweetDeck AIR, TweetDeck for Android and TweetDeck for iPhone. They will be removed from their respective app stores in early May and will stop functioning shortly thereafter. We’ll also discontinue support for our Facebook integration”.

On April 19th the TweetDeck also updated on its site as ” TweetDeck AIR, TweetDeck for Android and TweetDeck for iPhone will be removed from their respective app stores and will stop functioning on May 7. Our Facebook integration will also stop on May 7 .TweetDeck for Android and TweetDeck for iPhone may experience some outages with those apps before they are removed from their respective app stores in early May”.  After that the apps will not be function. The  alternative is HootSuite which is available for iOS and Android. Other third-party Twitter apps like Tweetbot for iOS or Plume for Android is also available. Twitter purchased TweetDeck a couple of years ago and it has made huge advances in its native iOS, Android and Windows Phone apps.
