Verizon Cloud offers 500MB free storage

Verizon is offering a new and improved storage service called Verizon Cloud.This secure storage app gives customers a place to back up and access their information. From 2010 Verizon has been offering a basic cloud service. Verizon Cloud will allow transferring of some content between Android and iOS devices, making it accessible across smartphones, tablets and computers. With the help of this cloud storage the user can store their data’s in Verizon’s  Remote server.User can access the Cloud service from any  smartphones with the support or even with your PC that runs on different OS.Verizon is offering more plans. Initially the 500MB of storage is available for free. If the user want more it is available at the range of 25Gb, 75GB, 125GB . The  25GB  is available at the cost of $2.99 per month, 75GB is available at the cost of $5.99 per month and 125GB is available at the cost of $9.99 per month.

With the help of the Verizon Cloud app installed on smartphone the user can select  the items to be backed-up on Verizon’s remote server. The items like text and picture messages, call logs, contacts, music,images and videos, or any saved file can be synced automatically.Apart from the Verizon cloud App the other storage app like Drop box,Google Drive is also available. But Drop box provides free storage of 2GB and 100GB at the cost of $9.99 per month, 200GB  at the cost of $19.99 per month. Also the Google Drive provides free storage of 5GB and 25GB at the cost of $2.49 per month, 100GB  at the cost of $4.99 per month.

Here is the list of currently available smartphone that supports Verizon’s cloud storage. Motorola DROID X and X2,Motorola DROID 2 Global, HTC Thunderbolt, HTC Incredible and Incredible 2, Samsung DROID Charge and Fascinate,. also the tablets like Motorola DROID XYBOARD 8.2 inch and 10.1 inch,Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Tab 2 10.1, and Galaxy Note 10.1.
