Verizon carrier is now pushing out a software update for Galaxy Tab S3 owners in USA. This bundle includes new features, security patches and bug fixes. The carrier has also revealed the release notes by updating the support page. According to that page, the latest update will come with new software version NRD90M.T827VVTU1AQJ3. Currently we didn’t have the exact download size but we can assume it may not exceed more than 500 MB.
Following are the list of changes that are included in this software update:
- Adds Netflix HDR video streaming support
- It solves the fingerprint setup wizard issue
- Installs October month security patch
If you own verizon galaxy tab s3 then you’re eligible to receive this security firmware. As usual, the software roll out will happen in stages via OTA. If your tablet is connected to wifi network, then you’ll receive the automatic OTA prompt. The user can also initiate the update from their side by navigating to Settings > About phone > Software update.
