Xiaomi Mi 6X listing spotted at Android.com and reveals specs

On April 25, Xiaomi has scheduled an event in China to launch Mi 6X, successor version of Mi 5X. This predecessor (Mi 5X) was renamed and released as Mi A1 Android One for other key markets. Without any doubt the upcoming Mi 6X handset will also launch under Android One program for other regions. Now Google has officially confirmed the existence of android one version by listing the handset on android.com website.


It also reveals the key specs of Mi 6X, but they didn’t unveil the exact launch name for this device. Some rumors suggest, this handset will release as Mi A2 in global market, but it’s not officially confirmed. Even google didn’t reveal the device name they’ve simply listed as Mi 6X.

According to android.com, the Mi 6X will come with 6-inch FHD+ display, runs on android 8.1 oreo (stock os), 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage options and back mounted fingerprint key. Recently leaked retail box reveals Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, 20MP + 8MP dual rear camera and 20MP selfie camera.

The launch price of Mi 6X for chinese has also leaked and disclosed the 6GB RAM existence. The 4GB + 64GB model will be priced 1799 yuan (Rs. 18,930) while the 6GB + 64GB version will be available for 1999 yuan (Rs. 21,040).
