Xiaomi Mi A2 get its first update which brings August security patch

At the end of July, Xiaomi has unveiled two new Android One series smartphones for global market and are named as Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite. Now the Mi A2 top-level device has started to receive its first software update. It has been officially affirmed by the user who shared the screenshot on third party forums. Surprisingly this firmware update brings August month security patch files that will fix the bugs and enhance the device security.


As well as this update will also improves the system stability and tweaks the performance of this device. The screenshot reveals, the Mi A2 users will receive this software update as OTA and this security update weighs in 380 MB. As usual, the OTA roll out will take some more time to reach all devices. Before downloading for update, be sure you have charged your device battery above 50 percent and use recommended internet connection (like WiFi).

Xiaomi has scheduled an event in India on August 8 to bring this Mi A2 series smartphones to Indian market. The pricing and availability details will be revealed at this event.
